Born into a family where heritage runs as deep as the Niger, he carries the distinguished bloodline of Yusuf Owódùńí Shọ̀tẹ̀ (Aṣọ̀tẹ̀márù), great-grandchild of Ọmọọba Jàdírà and grandson of Adénọ́wọ̀.

His royal upbringing instilled in him enduring values of honour, cultural preservation, and service to his people.
